Day of the Dead // Engagement

One of my best friend's is a photographer. It is one of the coolest relationships I have! We bounce ideas off each other, we critique each others work, we have editing parties while our kids play, and we laugh A LOT! And when she books a DOD inspired wedding and engagement session and asks me to help....my answer is most definitely HECK YES!!!! Well since their wedding is today (the day after DOD) I thought I would blog their engagement session that my best friend let me tag along at and take some of my own photos.

Up in the Sycamore Photography  is one of the most creative photographers I know. You bring an idea or concept to her and she will take it and make it into this....

Sarah & Andrew // Wedding

One of my favorite sorority sisters got married!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And she asked me to take her photos! It was a beautiful mountain wedding! All the details were perfect! And one of the perks of being good friends with your photographer? Sometimes she will bust her butt to get a blog post up even before you have all the pictures done! Hope this holds you over for a little bit longer Sarah! :-)

Maddy & Adam // Wedding

One of my favorite things about this job is when a fellow photographer asks me to be second photographer at a wedding for them! I know it sounds silly, but seriously I get to meet a beautiful, blushing bride; take a bunch of random pictures and hang out with another amazing photographer!

For this gorgeous wedding I got the chance to shoot alongside Gretchen Foster Photography!! She is great to work with and a wonderful photographer. These are just a few of the photos I was able to capture that day!
